Andrea Standley - Founder, COO
Songsinc was founded by COO Andrea Standley, a music industry label veteran who began her career at Warner Brothers Records in the areas of marketing, promotion, video, and production. Once she was named Director of System Analysis, Andrea was instrumental in designing many of the data systems still in use today by the giant label. She initiated and provided much of the analysis and report designs in the development of one of the company's first department computer network systems, then took that extensive knowledge of the music industry and the internal data programs, to conceive and create Songsinc.
And as it's said, she's not just the founder; she's also a prolific songwriter.
Gia DeSantis - Co-Founder, President
Company co-founder and President of Artist and Community Relations, Gia DeSantis knows what it's like to be at the forefront of blossoming artists. She's worked behind the scenes, in front of the camera and behind the microphone as well. As an entertainment industry veteran, DeSantis is the former Director of Marketing & Artist Relations at Capitol Records and was Director of Video Promotions at Reprise Records. DeSantis was a Music Correspondent for the E! Channel; President and Owner of Pretty Mouthy Marketing, an independent marketing and promotions company contracted by the biggest firms in the business: Warner Bros. Records, Disney, Sony, Universal Music Group, as well as other artist management firms and independent labels. Some of the artists Gia has worked with and/or interviewed are Beastie Boys, Bonnie Raitt, Nirvana, Lou Reed, Seal, Trent Reznor, and the impressive list goes on.
Her incredible journey began as DJ for Los Angeles modern rock powerhouse radio station KROQ and as Producer and Host of the Southern California music video program "Request Video," considered by many a pre-cursor to MTV's successful TRL program.
Stacy Conde – Vice President
Stacy is a displaced Indiana Hoosier who spent her early career years riding in vans with bands and doing PR and marketing at the best independent record labels in Chicago: Touch and Go and Wax Trax.
She then pinged her way from New York to LA, and worked her way to become Vice President, Marketing & Product Management for Capitol Records from 1996 -2002. While there, Stacy was responsible for domestic marketing campaigns for a roster of 30+ artists, including the Foo Fighters, Paul McCartney, Coldplay, Robbie Williams, and Kylie Minogue.
In 2002, she became Vice President Worldwide Marketing for Virgin Records, developing the global campaigns for a roster of 30+ artists, including: Janet Jackson, Lenny Kravitz, and The Rolling Stones.
In 2007, she had the distinct honor of serving as General Manager for Columbia Records UK and she teamed up with Columbia once again (stateside this time) to consult on GLEE, the hit Fox TV show with a music component that has achieved immense success.
Volunteer work has balanced strict commerce with the gift of "giving back." Most recently she joined the board of the newly founded Art from the Ashes organization and has produced numerous charity art exhibitions.Jonathan Stone - Advisor, Content and Acquisition
Jonathan is one of the leading figures in the world of music publishing. He began his career making tape copies at ATV Music, and quickly became Manager of Creative Services for the Nashville office.
Jonathan moved on to become Director of Creative Services for MCA Music, working with such writers as Glen Ballard, Robbie Neville, Mark Mueller, and Brock Walsh. Jonathan's success at MCA led to a position with the legendary Quincy Jones as Vice President of Qwest Music Publishing/Quincy Jones Productions, overseeing all aspects of music publishing for Quincy, including A&R for Quincy's various productions including Michael Jackson, Patty Austin and James Ingram.
Jonathan later accepted a position with Windswept Pacific Music, first as General Manager then President, guiding Windswept to become one of the largest independent music publishers in the world, publishing the works of Pete Townsend, The Spice Girls, Jeffrey Steele, Kings of Leon, Craig David, Chris Farren, Ashley Gorely, Beyonce, Sean Garrett, Alice Cooper, Corinne Bailey Rae, Snow Patrol, Wendy Waldman, Ginuwine, Smile Empty Soul, Steve Mac, Mike Elizondo, Mickey Avalon, Matraca Berg, Bridget Benenate, Bruno Mars, and the list goes on.
In 2007, Jonathan guided the sale of Windswept to Bug Music, and again joined forces with Fujipacific to form Radar Music. Jonathan has served on the board of various organizations, including the Board of Directors for the Academy of Country Music.
John Cesario - Advisor Partner, Strategy and Engagement
John brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and know-how to Songsinc, with over 20 years in executive management roles and strategic business development. His business expertise in multi-platform media development & delivery, the music and entertainment industries, and in online advertising has played a critical role in building the Songsinc model.
As an entrepreneur, John focused his attention in the hybrid nexus where media, art, commerce, community, and technology meet. He co-founded and launched: Noise Pop Industries, an event and lifestyle company supporting independent music and artists; GoodStorm, an e-commerce company, sold to Zazzle (a Google company) in 2007; and Mission AdWorks, a social advertising marketplace that connects logical groupings of website publishers with marketers, now part of Broad Street Interactive.
Prior, John was General Manager of Skyline Public Works, a company that provided funding and incubation support for social venture enterprises; Executive Manager of Production and then Customer Care Executive for Channel Partners Relations for Internet broadcasting pioneer iBeam Broadcasting; and Vice President of EDR Media, a company who developed programming for delivery via traditional and Internet broadcasting.
ProTools Developer (with Peter Gotcher) and Co-founder of Digidesign, Evan's vast knowledge of music creation is a perfect compliment to Songsinc. With his background in both tech and music, we are fortunate to have Evan to turn to for advice in every arena in which Songsinc operates. He is currently Chariman of the Board for the Stanford Jazz Workshop.
The producer of highly acclaimed and multiplatinum recording artists whose credits include Maroon 5, The Replacements, John Hiatt, Faith No More and Blues Traveler and Spin Doctors. Matt is also a respected engineer and has a busy recording studio in Los Angeles.
Composer for the television show Yo Gabba Gabba, songwriter and lead guitarist for the seminal punk-rock band The Vandals, record producer, and all-round good guy.
Grammy Award winning producer for Madonna's Long Form DVD for the "Confessions Tour" and Alanis Morrisette's "Jagged Little Pill Live"; Grammy nomination as producer for Madonna "I'm Going to Tell You a Secret" Long Form video. Dave's music production knowledge and industry contacts come from over 20 years of experience working directly with artists and managers for both recorded music and television production at Warner Bros. Records and Rhino Entertainment.
Regina is extraordinarily well respected by artists, record company executives and publishers alike. Her vast experience and decades spent in the music industry is matched by few; she ran the press departments at London, London-Sire and Verve, and has represented a wide array of artists including Diana Krall, Herbie Hancock, Meat Puppets, Paul Weller, Portishead and Sir Bob Geldof, before he got the "Sir."
Senior Vice President of US Marketing for BMG Publishing and founder of Truly Music, Wendy has worked closely with Green Day, David Foster, Linkin Park, Madonna, Richard Marx, Stevie Nicks, Muse, and countless other artists in marketing, promotion and production for music video and music placement. She most recently produced the PBS Special, "David Foster: Hitman Returns."
Edward V. Hawes
Edward brings a wealth of technical knowledge and business experience in web based services to Songsinc, with over 20 years in executive management and technology business development. His business expertise in supercomputing infrastructures and web based services including multi-platform media development & delivery and web based broadcasting compliments the Songsinc model.
As an entrepreneur, Mr. Hawes focused his attention in the high performance computing industry where he founded and launched three successful ventures including vCompute, Inter-Data, and DataLink Corp. Edward currently serves as CEO of Virtual Compute Corporation (vCompute) and is still active within the music industry as the founder and Owner of Road Apple Music.
