About Elliot Root
Elliot Root is not what most people would call the "norm" for a city like Nashville, Tennessee, but there is a movement happening in Music City - a movement that lends a hand to the side of diversity and change. That is exactly why this project, led by front man Scott Krueger, has made a new home there. Formerly the Scottie K Project of Kenosha, Wisconsin, the band found new life and new members in Nashville based on a leap of faith. With their light-hearted pop/rock sound and live show powered by smooth vocals, fat grooves, and anthemic choruses, they are headed in the "hit" direction within the ever-expanding roster and genre of Nashville music.
Signed to Artist Alliance Group headed by award-winning, multiplatinum songwriter and producer Kenny Lamb, Elliot Root will be preparing for a multi-city tour after their current album release launch on October 15th.

Two (2) winning songs will be released as digital singles by Elliot Root, and one of those is guaranteed to be on their next new release!
Both winning songwriters will be flown to a meet/greet with the band and will attend a live show at a location to be determined. Both winning songs will be recorded by the band and released as digital singles, and both songs will be performed at the live show. Of the two winning songs, one grand prize winner will be selected and included on the band's next album (tentative spring 2012 release) as well as placed into their touring playlist.
